Information about access (as date, time, page accessed) could result in the storage on our server, if you visit our website. This does not represent any analysis of personal data as name, adress or e-mail adress. If personal data are collected, that only accurs with prior consent of the user. Any forwarding of data to third parties without informing the user shall not be taken place.

Any duplication, processing, distribution or utilisation beyond the scope of the German copyright law shall require the prior written consent of the author in question. However, we would like to point out that transmission of data via internet can offer security vulnerabilities. It is therefore impossible to safeguard the data completely against access by third parties. We can´t assume any liability for damages as a result of such security vulnerabilities. The use by third parties of all published contact details for the purpose of advertising is expressly excluded. We reserve the right to take legal steps in case of unsolicited sending of advertising information.

For the purpose of these Terms and Conditions "we", "us" or "our" refers to the staff of the Hostel on the Hill. "You" or "your" refers to the guest staying in the Hostel on the Hill. We reserve the right to change our Terms and Conditions from time to time.

If booked through a booking website or an agency, they might have their own terms and conditions, which are also binding, but do not overrule our own.

 

Conduct

We ask our guests to be quiet in the bedrooms and communal areas after 23h. We also expect our guests to be respectful to each other and our staff and to agree on the Hostel rules. Guests are expected to clean after themselfes and do their own dishes. Behaviour that is, in our opinion, rude, causes distress, damage, danger or annoyance to other guests, us, our staff, any third party or property, will not be tolerated and any guests acting in that manner will have their reservation cancelled and have to leave the Hostel immediately. We won´t refund any payments and we shall not be liable for any extra costs.

Between April and November, it´s not allowed to light candles, have a BBQ or an open fire in the house or outside without the presence of our staff.

 

Check In

Check in time is between 14h and 21h. Guests failing to check in by this time without former noticing, will automatically have their booking cancelled and are not allowed to access the Hostel. The first night will be charged in this case. Please notice that we are a small business and don´t have a 24h reception. Our staff is available 24h for any kind of emergencies though. 

Please advise us as soon as possible about your arrival time, especially if your arrival time is after 20h.

 

Check out

Latest check out time is at 11.30am. Our guests will be charged for an extra night if checking out later than 11.30am without giving us a good reason in advance.

 

Payment terms

You can pay cash on arrival or transfer the money to our account (we will give you this details on request after your booking is confirmed). All prices are quoted in Euros and include IVA.

All prices advertised on our website or the booking websites are accurate when published, however we reserve the right to alter prices from time to time.

 

Travel insurance

By booking your stay in our Hostel, you are confirming that you and everyone in your party will be suitable insured. We don´t accept liability to you or any member of your party due to your own negligence. We are not responsible for any crime, injury, or case of death that happens to you or any member of your party.
